Who we are!

KK Boutique, founded by Englishman George Cooper of the renowned KK Collection hotels, opened in Galle Fort in 2006. The boutique showcases a variety of fashion, homewares, art, and jewellery, with homeware crafted by Sri Lankan artisans and in-house fashion pieces. The store’s walls feature striking oil-on-canvas artwork by local artists, available for worldwide shipping. Committed to supporting local craftsmanship, KK Boutique offers a chic, glamorous lifestyle through its carefully curated products.

How we work!

Our team of professionals work closely with local manufacturers and artists, sourcing and commissioning goods from all over Sri Lanka, as well as supplementing the offering with exclusive items from India, Thailand and Indonesia.

We have two retail stores: one in Galle Fort and the other in vibrant Hikkaduwa!

The most beautiful store in Galle without a doubt and with the best items. The sculptures and clothing are spectacular.Without a doubt, it is well worth stopping by for a walk.The owner couldn't have been nicer and offered us more options. It was great to be able to talk to him and how he helped us at all times.

Well, nice stuff and pretty building but I found some items a bit overpriced (just my personal opinion). The price of the top I liked was not labeled and there was a misunderstanding and miscommunication regarding this which was resolved later via email. For the disappointment with which I left the shop 2 times without the top I also take 2 points.

Beautifully curated shop stocking lovely items ranging from clothing and accessories to homeware and fabrics. They also have an inhouse tailor.It is the staff, however, who confirmed my faith in humanity. I took a dress that I'd bought elsewhere in for alteration. The tailor made a mistake and it ended up too small. I'd say 90% of places would just apologise, try to fix the mistake, maybe waive the charge and send me on my way. After trying to fix the mistake and seeing that it was not possible, these guys actually went and bought me a new dress from the other shop.This was really unexpected and a demonstration of exceptional customer service!!

A wonderful shop, wonderful staff and wonderful clothing in a absolutely stunning building. I wandered through this 250 year old building and found so many amazing clothes, but what I was really impressed with was when I asked if they could make me a pair of shorts exactly like the ones I had on, they didn't hesitate and 2 pairs were ready the following day! They will alter and tailor any item to your specifications. They had an excellent range of jewelry, linen and nick nacks too. All clothing items are hand made on the premises. Thank you KK we will be back for more!

Collective artists showcased were inspirational.Rather than seeking out talent, being connected with professional Sri Lankan artists that have been featured nationally and internationally was the perfect take home from this trip.Great vibe.Not pushy, prices marked.Their team helped us honestly and offered to connect us to conversations with the artists willing to negotiate for purchasing multiple pieces,So we secured 4 original pieces. Authenticity certificates received, paintings delivered to our hotel within a day with descriptions of the artists.I fell for their in house designed silk dresses, a tailor came and fitted me, whilst strolling through the street it was custom tailored within the hour.Love you guys.Thank you so much for bringing me confidence, connection to local artists & the confidence to buy more works online ongoing.Excellent operators.
